Elena Gual, (Mallorca, 1994) has forged an artistic path with passion and determination since her early days in painting. Her training in Italy provided her with academic rules, while at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Arts in London, she discovered her creative potential and delved into contemporary art.
An allergic accident distanced her from using oil with a brush, but her mastery in impasto and the use of a palette knife allowed her to discover a new three-dimensional sensation, exploring new textures and nuances of light.
The central theme of her work is femininity, where her evolving journey and travels around the world granted her a special sensitivity towards the figure and identity of women. Elena evokes an introspective and sensory journey in each portrait. Her art becomes a window into the intangible and spiritual, conveying emotions and thoughts to connect with the world. She seeks to highlight the beauty and uniqueness of women, expressing the authenticity and richness of the human experience, promoting openness towards diversity and liberation.
