ESTAMPA 2022: Contemporary Art Fair

This Sunday, October 16, after four intense days, finished the ESTAMPA contemporary art fair, and how could it be otherwise, the Arma Gallery was here. Works by artists like Peter Zimmermann, Elena Gual, Papartus, Carlos Cartaxo, Juana González, Jorge Nava y Misterpiro filled our stand.

This year, 25 national and international galleries participated. Young galleries like Cerquone projects, La Bibi, Veta or Arma Gallery, all of them with new proposals, proving that art is not just for veterans.

The main intention of ESTAMPA, is to support the work of the new generations of artists and curators, as well as the most emerging gallery owners of the moment and national collecting.

Thanks to Cervezas Alhambra, this latest edition relies on the “Dare with art” program, which promotes initiation into collecting. This initiative tries to encourage new collectors, through a tour created by the project’s curator, Alicia Ventura, and the director of the fair, Chema de Francisco. The speech “create/without/hurry”, seeks to express the facilities of starting a collection, and the importance of enjoying contemplating art in all its forms.

Without a doubt, this is an exceptional opportunity to meet national and international artists, and why not, start collecting art.
