Gacetín Madrid has published a note about the Raíces exhibition by Mallorcan painter Elena Gual, taking place at the Casa de Vacas Cultural Center throughout October. The show features 38 oil portraits of women, where femininity is the central theme, highlighting Gual’s skill with the palette knife. The artist explores concepts of identity, empowerment, and cultural barriers through her unique technique, which offers deep textures and layers in each work.
Trained at the Florence Academy of Art and with exhibitions in cities such as New York and London, Elena Gual has established herself as one of the most prominent young Spanish artists internationally. The exhibition, organized by Arma Gallery, will be open to the public for free until October 28, from 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
